Leading can be a lonely experience, especially given the pressures we face today.

Leaders face complex social issues that organizations are asked to address, funding cuts, competitive funding environments, decreased donor support, backlash on DEI progress, hiring challenges, employee dis-engagement, decreased volunteer engagement, and higher leadership turnover than we have ever seen before.

Leadership becomes even more challenging for women, racialized folks, especially Black and Indigenous leaders and 2SLGBTQ folks. [I encourage Black and Indigenous leaders to have routine coaching that works for them - if you need help being connected to a coach, I would be happy to help.]
